My little sister of mercy came to me in a dream
My little sister of mercy came to me in a dream
Nobody ever felt the same
Nobody ever looked the same
After all
all the games
nobody ever
is the same
Pay no mind to the tear in her eye /
you never cared about it when you told her those lies...
It's not worth losing any of your precious sleep
she'll never know about the secrets you keep
I've been up late, not sleeping; watching late-night infomercial television / Exercise machines, computers, creams, schemes and hair removal systems.
there are some things better than sex and if there are I haven't found them yet
I'm losing all my hair / it's falling from my head / and every day is a struggle to cope with/ what my dr said
say hello to neighbors that God probably forgot.
i'm stronger
i'm stronger
i'm stronger
say you
seem like
forever's just a cloud in the sky
and I'll be there too
you can't deny
cheer up sad one
life's what you miss
when you're having fun
life
loss
learn
Somewhere People live their lives; They'll tell you so / Somewhere People never even know
about
Delayed for nearly a decade, this is the sophomore LP by the JSE
After Mike Finnerty's departure from the band in 2007, the JSE (with Patric Valentine, Natalia McCarty and Alex "Nappy" Gonzalez) attempted to re-record certain songs and tried to recapture that early 00's atmosphere & nostalgia with little success.
As a result, two EPs of alternate versions were created (Co-Produced by Alexander Perez @ Brokenland Studios) and the JSE went back to the studio with the daunting task to rework and overdub on the basic tracks and scratch takes they had collected home-recording demos for this album from as far back as 2004.
